JOB TITLE: DRIVER- Part Time
SUMMARY DESCRIPTION Under the general supervision of the Director of Operations operate vehicles in a safe, efficient manner; obeying all Federal, State, and Local laws and Company policies; following fixed routes and time schedule to transport consumers to and from the Facility. Report any maintenance problems to the Transportation Coordinator and follow established procedures for all paperwork (fuel tickets, purchase receipts, packing slips, etc.). It is expected that the driver will function as an integral, cooperative member of a team of professionals and staff employed by the organization. AREAS OF
RESPONSIBILITY: 1. Operate vehicles in a safe, efficient manner. Obey all Federal, State, and Local laws and Company policies. A driver’s first responsibility is the safe transportation of the consumers. 2. Follow the established routes and time schedule to pickup or take home the consumers. 3. Report any problems with the vehicles in writing to the Transportation Coordinator. Also keep track of the preventative maintenance schedule. 4. Maintain attendance and mileage sheets. 5. Return all other paperwork such as shipping tickets, receipts for purchased supplies, repair tickets, etc. to the proper department. 6. Perform other related duties as assigned consistent with Job Description. EDUCATION /
EXPERIENCE: 1. High School graduate or equivalent. 2. Five years driving experience. 3. Clean driving record. |
